As the end of the school year nears, senior Sherry Aliotta is using her passion for cooking as not only a hobby, but also a possible path into her future. Sherry has been a student at Wallenpaupack since she was in second grade. She has loved cooking since she was in kindergarten and loves being able to do hands-on work when it comes to food. When she’s not in school, Sherry loves to bake or help her parents make dinner.

Sherry is very involved in both extracurricular activities and her community outside of school. She is a member of the color guard, stage crew, and WAHS Players. She is also on the swim team and a member of Skills USA.

Sherry is inspired by her brother, Nicholas. She looks up to him because he never gives up on any task, no matter how difficult it is. Sherry would like to thank her family and her teachers for always supporting her in everything she does.

After high school, Sherry plans to attend Pennsylvania College of Technology to pursue a degree in baking and pastry. Her dream is to one day open a bakery out of her home.

As her years at Wallenpaupack come to a close, Sherry reflects on the years she spent here with gratitude. Her creativity, dedication, and passion for culinary will take her far into the next chapter of her life. Sherry’s advice to others is, “If you start something, whether it’s hard or not, don’t ever give up. Keep going!”
